This proposal involved the complete refurbishment and remodelling of a shop unit in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh.
The unit was stripped back to create a clean, clear and open space for a second branch for specialist artisan cheesemonger George Mewes. A huge display island provides a focal point and attracts customers into the shop with it’s beautiful display of cheese. The best of long lasting and natural materials were used (stone, spruce, concrete, tile) with a new non-fanned bespoke cooling system to allow the entire shop to be temperature controlled with a good and long-lasting aesthetic.
